Kasongan Trourism Village
Kasongan Tourism Villagehas become one of the popular destinations favoured by tourists. There are various pottery-sold in the Village, ranging from unique, small souvenirs (such as wedding souvenirs), to plant vases, tables, chairs, and many more. In its development, Kasongan Tourism Village also produces masks, artificial flowers from bamboo as well as from banana leaves.
A row of showrooms and galleries in Kasongan Tourism Village offer crafts made from pottery and other materials. They also sell enhancing home ornaments,
Kasongan Tourism Village is located in pedukuhan Kajen, Bangunjiwo Village, Kasihan, Bantul, Jogja. To get there, go south from the city of Jogja until you find Dongkelan intersection (South Ring Road intersection – Jalan Bantul). Choose the road heading south passing Jalan Bantul. It will take 10 to 20 minutes from the city centre to get to Dongkelan intersection. An entrance gate in the Kasongan Tourism Village awaits you upon your arrival.
