Hotel Santika Premiere Jogja held a Jogjakartan Craft Exhibition in cooperation with the Units of Public Activities (Unit Kegiatan Masyarakat – UKM) managed by the Local Trade and Industry Agency of the Special Region of Jogjakarta Province. The event, held from 1 to 8 July 2012 at the Lobby of the hotel, featured various handicrafts produced by local UKMs across Jogja.

Eight booths representing handicrafts produced by the UKMs were featured in the opening of the Exhibition. Various items such as silver handicrafts, purses and bags, accessories, lamps, wooden puzzles, hand puppets, batik, etc, were prominently featured. The Exhibition, which ran from 9am to 10pm, was held in support of the local government’s program to support local products and build customers’ loyalty to purchase local products as well as to sustain the local UKMs in Jogja.
